Objectives
- Provide a tool for comprehensive destination marketing, updated and reprinted three times a year.
- Involve service providers from the tourism sector in sustainable development of Nicaragua.
- Promotion and marketing of local projects concerned with sustainable development of Nicaragua, protection of its natural environment, safeguarding its cultural heritage (contemporary and historical) and empowerment of its people.
- Fundraising for local projects.
- Provide technical information on selected projects in the respective productions of Bosawas Maps.
- Presentation of projects through press releases, e-mail marketing and press conferences.
- Organisation of unique project awareness raising visits, creating an opportunity for the project management to interact, promote, market and follow up on the media exposure and consumer interest. The project visits will be headed by a celebrity Project Ambassador.
- Financial support to chosen projects made up of a percentage of income generated from advertisements in Bosawas Maps and profits raised by the Project Ambassador visits.
